Case Study 4: Building a Scalable Enterprise Messaging Platform for Policy Distribution
Challenge:
A large enterprise sought to have a highly scalable and efficient system for delivering policies and important documents such as notices and memos to employees as well as partners in almost real-time. The current system was, however, inadequate in terms of speed, fidelity, and scalability, and was causing some delays in policy communication and compliance issues. This organization desired a solution that could streamline policy distribution, ensure secure and timely delivery, and scale up with business growth.

Solution:
Okriti designed and built a proper enterprise messaging platform into a microservices architecture:
– Developed 3 of main microservices using Java & Spring Boot to configure flows of policy distribution.
– Implemented Kafka to ensure real-time message streaming for policy instant updates.
– Optimized database queries for searchable and faster retrieval of policy documents.
– Designed a scalable architecture to support increased users, documents, and real-time interactions.
This thus ensured effective cross-service communication for efficient policy distribution.
Results achieved:
✔ Real-time policy delivery system – Employees and partners would receive instant updates, thus making the compliance timely.
✔ Scalable architecture – The system can handle incrementing enterprise requirements without performance bottleneck issues.
✔ Improved communication & compliance – Improvement in audit tracking was made and policies reached intended recipients with high fidelity.
By means of event-driven architecture, optimized APIs, and real-time streaming, Okruti has delivered a future-proof policy distribution platform that will enhance communication and compliance within the enterprise.
